Question 1

How does Hormone Balance† + Collagen work?

Accepted Answer

Hormone Balance† + Collagen works by targeting key areas of hormonal health. It supports estrogen balance†, modulates cortisol production (the stress hormone), and promotes sexual health†. This formula is made with high-quality ingredients like clinically studied organic ashwagandha root extract, which helps support hormone balance, healthy weight management for those under stress, helps control stress-related food cravings, boosts energy and reduces fatigue (among other benefits). Plus, with 10 types of collagen, it supports joint health† as well.

Question 2

How does Hormone Balance† + Collagen powder differ from Hormone Balance† + Collagen capsules?

Accepted Answer

The key differences between Hormone Balance† + Collagen powder and capsules are the format and the amount of collagen included. The powder provides a higher amount of our Multi Collagen Complex, while the capsules contain less in order to fit into an easy-to-take capsule form. Despite this difference, both options deliver the same amount of key clinically validated superfoods found in our Hormone Support† Blend and offer the same powerful benefits. Whether you prefer mixing a powder into your favorite drink or taking capsules on the go, you’ll experience the same multi-symptom support.

Question 3

How does this product differ from other hormone support products on the market? When will I see results?

Accepted Answer

Hormone Balance† + Collagen stands out by offering a comprehensive, multi-symptom approach to hormone health. Unlike many products that target just one challenge, like low energy, our formula is designed to support overall hormone balance†, help alleviate the effects of stress and tension, enhance sexual well-being, boost energy and reduce fatigue, and more. How? We use powerful superfoods backed by centuries of traditional wisdom and modern science – like organic ashwagandha root extract. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), also known as Winter Cherry or “Indian Ginseng”, has been traditionally used for thousands of years, especially in the Indian Ayurvedic system. It is classified as a Rasayana (rejuvenating tonic), which suggests it can affect physical and mental health, wellness, and vitality. Ashwagandha is classified as an adaptogen as it enhances the body’s resilience to stress. Adaptogens help our bodies manage stress and restore balance after a stressful situation. Any kind of stress – physical, emotional, hormonal, and even our diet – affects the body’s systems. Adaptogens interact with the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, which initiates your body’s stress response and plays a key role in keeping your body in balance (or in a homeostatic state). And of course, ours is the only hormone support supplement on the market with 10 types of collagen from five real food sources, including clinically studied proprietary fermented eggshell membrane collagen. Collagen is a powerful ingredient for overall healthy hair, skin, nails, and joint health – The fermented eggshell membrane collagen ingredient is shown to improve joint function, promote joint mobility and flexibility, as well as to reduce exercise-induced stiffness by 18.5% after 14 days. When it comes to a timeline for results, everyone is different. Many women begin to notice improvements in days or weeks. However, individual results can vary. Some women may experience relief from certain symptoms sooner, while others may see gradual improvements over time. Consistency is key! For best results, take Hormone Balance† + Collagen daily as part of a balanced lifestyle.

Question 4

Can men take this product?

Accepted Answer

Hormone Balance† + Collagen is specifically formulated to address the unique hormonal challenges women experience. We do have a wide range of products that are formulated for both men and women, however – like our flagship Multi Collagen Protein product – and several that are made specifically for men, like our Men’s Multivitamin and Male Performance†.

Question 5

What superfood ingredients are included in this formula?

Accepted Answer

We use a full-spectrum organic ashwagandha root extract. Organic chaste tree berry extract is a powerful ingredient backed by centuries of ancient use. Deglycrrhizinated licorice root extract has been used traditionally in supporting healthy adrenal function and hormonal health. Finally, organic maca root powder has been used for centuries to support overall wellbeing. It’s an adaptogen – it can help your body stay in balance and adapt to external stressors.

Question 6

What does it taste like?

Accepted Answer

Hormone Balance† + Collagen powder has a lightly sweet Vanilla flavor. It’s intentionally versatile – you can blend it easily into your morning coffee, add it to a smoothie, or mix it up with milk or water. We’ve chosen stevia leaf extract to give this powder a sweet flavor without overloading on sugar. Stevia is a low-calorie sweetener that is typically less processed than traditional white sugar.

Question 7

Why is collagen included in this formula?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is a foundational protein that all of us need. But as we age, our normal collagen production decreases, which can contribute to joint discomfort, less elasticity in our skin, brittle hair and nails, and more. Hormone Balance† + Collagen includes 10 types of collagen from five real food sources, offering comprehensive benefits for overall health.

Question 8

When should I take this product?

Accepted Answer

It’s up to you! Hormone Balance† + Collagen is effective no matter what time of day you take it. Take it daily, at a time that fits best with your routine. For optimal results, many women take it in the morning with breakfast or as part of their vitamin routine. Consistency is key – regular use ensures that your body receives the nutrients it needs to support healthy hormones over time. Please read and follow label directions for use.

Question 9

Can I take Hair Growth† + Collagen, Hormone Balance† + Collagen, Menopause Support†* + Collagen and Testosterone Support† for Women + Collagen in combination with one another? What about your other collagen formulas?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can take any of our collagen products together. Collagen is normally produced by your body and consuming collagen supplements can help support your body’s own wellbeing. Our different formulas have specific targeted ingredients to help better address the health areas you’re interested in, and you may choose to combine them to get the results you’re looking for. We suggest checking in with your healthcare professional before starting any new supplement routine.

Question 10

What is collagen?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in the body — especially type I — and is found throughout the body. As we age, natural collagen production declines, which can contribute to wrinkles, joint stiffness and reduced mobility. Collagen contains a whopping 19 different amino acids. Amino acids are the “building blocks of proteins,” and collagen includes a mix of both nonessential (also called conditional) and essential types.

Question 11

Is Hormone Balance† + Collagen vegan/vegetarian?

Accepted Answer

Collagen is found only in animals, mostly in the flesh and connective tissue. There are no vegan collagen supplements (although there are vegan foods and products that can support your body’s production of collagen). As a result, Hormone Balance† + Collagen comes from animal sources, so it is not vegan or vegetarian. We do have a Vegetarian Collagen Peptides supplement that comes entirely from our fermented eggshell membrane collagen, though!

Question 12

Where do you source your collagen from?

Accepted Answer

Our collagen is sourced from non-GMO, pasture-raised and grass-fed, cage-free sources. Our hydrolyzed bovine hide collagen peptides are pasture-raised and grass-fed in South America. The hydrolyzed fish collagen peptides come from sustainably wild-caught haddock, cod and pollock, harvested from North American waters. The proprietary, clinically validated fermented eggshell membrane collagen is sourced from chicken eggshells from USDA-regulated egg breaking facilities within the United States. Our sustainably sourced chicken bone broth protein concentrate also comes from non-GMO, U.S.-farmed chickens.

Question 13

Are your products produced in a facility with allergens?

Accepted Answer

We now have a disclaimer that is on ALL of our products: "Produced on equipment that may also process peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soybean, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, egg." This is a voluntary disclaimer and our formulations have not changed. Our manufacturers are required to have Policies and Procedures in place when it comes to handling and processing allergens. These allergen programs are in place to prevent cross contamination after each run by proper cleaning procedures. Allergen swab testing is also done after running an allergen containing product. We test finished products for allergens prior to designating as “Free” of. We also follow cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) which helps maintain allergen segregation.
