Question 1

What are Methylated Vitamin B12 Gel Packs?

Accepted Answer

Methylated Vitamin B12 Gel Packs are single-serve, ready-to-use gel packs that deliver methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) plus 5-MTHF (methylated folate). They’re designed to support healthy vitamin B12 levels, nervous system function, cellular energy metabolism and healthy red blood cell formation — without pill or powder routines.

Question 2

What does “methylated” mean?

Accepted Answer

“Methylated” refers to a highly usable form of certain B vitamins. In this product, vitamin B12 is provided as methylcobalamin and folate as 5-MTHF — forms the body can utilize directly. In everyday terms, it’s a “ready-to-use” form of these nutrients.

Question 3

What’s the difference between Methylated Vitamin B12 Gel Packs and Ancient Nutrients Vitamin B-12?

Accepted Answer

The biggest differences between these products lie in format (Methylated Vitamin B12 Gel Packs come in zero-prep, Passionfruit Lemonade–flavored gels, whereas Ancient Nutrients Vitamin B-12 comes in a once-daily capsule form) as well as in formulas: Each gel pack contains 1,000 mcg of B12 per serving, whereas the capsules contain 20 mcg per serving. Both products provide vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, a methylated form of B12; however, while Methylated Vitamin B12 Gel Packs include methylated folate, Ancient Nutrients Vitamin B-12 capsules do not, instead featuring a superfood blend of bovine liver, organic reishi mushroom extract and more.

Question 4

Why pair vitamin B12 with folate?

Accepted Answer

Vitamin B12 and folate work together in multiple cellular pathways. They’re both involved in processes that support healthy red blood cell formation and DNA synthesis, and they play roles in energy-producing metabolic pathways. Pairing them makes sense because they’re complementary nutrients that support foundational wellness.

Question 5

Will I “feel” energy right away?

Accepted Answer

This isn’t a stimulant or a quick-fix energy product. Vitamin B12 supports cellular energy metabolism, meaning it helps support the pathways your body uses to produce energy. Individual experiences will vary, and consistent daily use is the best approach for foundational support.

Question 6

What makes gel packs different from capsules or powders?

Accepted Answer

Gel Packs are designed for zero-prep convenience. They’re pre-portioned and ready to use — no pills to swallow and no powder to mix. If you’ve struggled with consistency, these gels make for a delicious way to simplify your routine.

Question 7

How do I take these gel packs?

Accepted Answer

Adults take 1 packet daily. Most people tear open a packet and take the gel directly; others prefer squeezing it into water or juice. As with any wellness supplement, consistency is key, so feel free to choose the method that fits your day.

Question 8

When should I take Vitamin B12?

Accepted Answer

Some people prefer taking B vitamins earlier in the day as part of a morning routine. Additionally, vitamin B12 and folate are water-soluble vitamins, so they can generally be taken with or without food. If you have a sensitive stomach, taking it with a meal may feel best. Always follow the label directions and consider your personal routine for best consistency.

Question 9

Can I take this if I already take a multivitamin or another B12 supplement?

Accepted Answer

It’s smart to consider your total daily intake, especially if your multivitamin already contains B12 and folate. As always, consult your healthcare professional prior to beginning any new dietary or lifestyle regimen, including dietary supplementation.

Question 10

Why is the %DV (daily value) for B12 so high?

Accepted Answer

The DV for vitamin B12 is set at a relatively small amount, so many B12 supplements show a high %DV. This doesn’t mean “more is always better”—it’s simply how the DV benchmark is calculated. If you have questions about the right amount for you, consult a healthcare professional.

Question 11

What are the benefits of methylated vitamin B12?

Accepted Answer

Methylated vitamin B12, also known as methylcobalamin, is a bioavailable form of B12 that your body can use as-is. Vitamin B12 supports normal energy metabolism, nervous system function, red blood cell formation, and DNA synthesis.

Question 12

Can you take vitamin B12 with food?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vitamin B12 can be taken with or without food. For consistency, we recommend taking your daily gel pack at a time that works well for your routine. If you have a sensitive stomach, taking it with a meal may be more comfortable.

Question 13

Accepted Answer

Question 14
